Programs & fit

Understand the four pathways and choose based on the work you want to do.

School of Data Science offers four programs: Data Analytics + Gen AI, Business Analytics + Gen AI, Data Science & AI, and Generative AI.

The two analytics programs run for 6 months with 18 weeks of structured curriculum. Data Science & AI runs for 12 months with 36 weeks of structured curriculum, while Generative AI runs for 4 months with 16 weeks of structured curriculum.

Start with the kind of work you want to do. Choose Data Analytics + Gen AI if you want to query, analyse and visualise structured data; Business Analytics + Gen AI if your interest is KPI-led business decision-making; Data Science & AI if you want deeper mathematics, modelling and machine learning; and Generative AI if you want to build LLM-powered applications, retrieval systems and AI workflows.

For a side-by-side decision, use the Program Comparison page.

Data Analytics + Gen AI is centred on structured-data analysis, SQL, reporting, visualisation, statistics and business communication. Data Science & AI is the more technically demanding path, adding stronger mathematics, machine learning, deep learning, CV/NLP and deployment-oriented model work.

Both use data to support decisions, but the centre of gravity is different. Data Analytics emphasises analytical execution—querying, analysis, dashboards and reporting—while Business Analytics places more emphasis on KPIs, business framing, forecasting, scenarios and stakeholder recommendations.

Choose Data Science & AI if you want to understand and build predictive models across classical ML, deep learning, CV/NLP and deployment. Choose Generative AI if your target is application development around LLMs, prompt systems, RAG, vector retrieval and advanced GenAI application patterns.

Yes. All four programs are accepting enrolments through monthly rolling admissions, with weekday and weekend cohort options. Ask admissions for the next available batch schedule.

02

Eligibility & prerequisites

Understand what background helps and where a beginner can realistically start.

Not for every pathway. Analytics-oriented programs can be approached from a more accessible starting point, while Data Science & AI requires a stronger willingness to work with Python, statistics and mathematical reasoning. Generative AI also benefits from coding comfort because application building typically involves APIs and program logic.

The mathematical depth depends on the program. Data Science & AI has the strongest mathematics requirement because modelling and ML depend on statistical and mathematical foundations. Analytics tracks use statistics in a more decision-oriented way, while Generative AI focuses more heavily on application architecture and evaluation than on deep mathematical derivation.

The learning pathways are designed to be relevant to graduates and early-career learners as well as working professionals. The important question is not only your degree; it is whether your starting skills and weekly commitment match the technical depth of the program you choose.

Yes. The programs are designed for students and recent graduates, working professionals and career switchers. Live online weekday and weekend cohort options make it possible to choose a schedule that fits around work or study commitments.

Yes, depending on the target pathway. Business Analytics + Gen AI and Data Analytics + Gen AI can be especially relevant when your strength is business context, problem framing or structured decision-making. A non-engineering background does not remove the need to learn the technical tools required by the role.

03

Learning format

Live classes, cohort options, mentorship, recordings and ongoing learning access.

All four programs are delivered through live online cohorts with a maximum of 20 learners. The experience combines live teaching, guided labs, independent practice, assessments, eight applied projects, weekly one-to-one mentorship and career preparation.

Weekday and weekend cohort options are available. Exact days and session times depend on the active batch, so request the current schedule from admissions before enrolling.

Yes. Live-class recordings remain available for 12 months after program completion. Core learning materials remain available for life.

You retain lifetime access to learning materials and eligible alumni skill workshops, five years of structured doubt support and repeat-batch access for up to five years. Live-class recordings remain available for 12 months after completion.

You can use the class recording to catch up and use structured doubt support to resolve questions. Eligible learners can also repeat a batch for up to five years, subject to the applicable repeat-batch process.

Plan for time beyond live sessions for practice, assignments, project work and revision. The appropriate weekly commitment varies by program and starting point; admissions can explain the current cohort schedule so you can assess the complete workload.

04

Projects & assessment

How applied work, mentor feedback and capstone development support your portfolio.

Yes. Programs combine guided labs, independent exercises, assessments, applied cases and project milestones so you can practise concepts between live sessions.

Yes. Every program includes eight applied projects, including capstone work. Projects use realistic Indian business contexts and public or synthetic datasets, helping you create evidence you can discuss in portfolio and interview conversations.

Mentors review portfolio work and provide written feedback. You can then revise the project, strengthen its documentation and practise explaining the problem, approach, decisions and limitations.

Assessment includes concept checkpoints, applied assignments, project milestones, capstone work and your ability to explain the decisions behind your work. Program-specific completion requirements are shared as part of the applicable academic and cohort guidance.

Projects are designed around realistic Indian business and technical contexts using public or synthetic datasets. They are learning projects, not paid client engagements unless a specific project is explicitly identified as such.

05

Career support

Profile guidance, interview preparation, opportunity support and active-support timelines.

No. Skillsbiz Education provides structured career preparation and placement assistance, but hiring decisions depend on individual performance, role fit, employer requirements and market conditions.

Active placement assistance continues for 90 days after program completion. See the full Career Support page for details.

Yes. An analytics learner may need SQL, dashboard and case reasoning; Business Analytics may require KPI and stakeholder decision scenarios; Data Science & AI requires stronger modelling and technical reasoning; Generative AI interviews may focus on application architecture, RAG, evaluation and system trade-offs.

Yes. Learners have access to a one-year internship pathway and a letter of recommendation. Admissions can explain the current pathway format and participation requirements.

No. Company marks currently shown on the website are market-context visuals unless a specific relationship is explicitly verified and stated. Their presence should not be interpreted as a hiring partnership, guaranteed interview, placement channel or employer endorsement.

Skillsbiz Education does not guarantee a salary or salary increase. Compensation depends on your prior experience, role, employer, location, technical capability, communication, portfolio and current market conditions.

06

Certification

Who issues your completion certificate, how it is verified and how to present it.

Yes. Skillsbiz Education issues a Certificate of Completion for your program after you meet the applicable completion requirements. The certificate is digitally verifiable through the official Skillsbiz Education verification service.

The program certificate is issued by Skillsbiz Education. It is not described as a university degree, vendor certification or co-issued industry credential. Skillsbiz Education’s company-level accreditations and affiliations are listed separately on its official website.

Yes. You can add your Skillsbiz Education completion certificate to your LinkedIn profile or resume and include its digital verification details. Present it as a program completion credential rather than an external licence or degree.
