Terms & Conditions
These Terms form part of your agreement with Skillsbiz Education Private Limited. They apply together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and any program offer, invoice, enrolment confirmation or learner agreement issued to you.
1. Scope and acceptance
These Terms apply when you browse this website, use its tools, submit an enquiry or application, enrol in a program, or access a learning service offered by the School of Data Science.
By using the website, you agree to these Terms. A paid enrolment may include additional written terms presented before payment or access. If a program-specific document conflicts with these general Terms, the program-specific document applies to that enrolment, subject to applicable law.
2. Website use and information
You may use this website to learn about our programs, compare pathways, complete the Career Assessment and contact our team. You must use it lawfully and only for legitimate personal or professional purposes.
- Program information is general and does not constitute legal, financial, employment or other regulated advice.
- We take reasonable care to keep information accurate and may correct typographical, technical or factual errors.
- Current cohort dates, seat availability and individual eligibility are confirmed by the admissions team.
- You may not copy, scrape, republish or commercially exploit protected website content without written permission.
3. Applications, enquiries and admission
An enquiry or application helps us understand your interests and contact you about a suitable program. Admission is confirmed only when Skillsbiz Education accepts your enrolment in writing and any required payment and documentation are completed.
Starts the conversation
Our team reviews the information you submit and contacts you through the details provided.
Provides guidance
The Career Assessment suggests a pathway; it is not a formal aptitude test or admission decision.
Requires written confirmation
Eligibility, payment and cohort details are confirmed before your enrolment is complete.
Subject to availability
A preferred schedule or start month is not reserved until we confirm it in writing.
If an applicant is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept the enrolment terms and complete the required payment process.
4. Enrolment and commercial terms
Before payment, we provide the program name, applicable fee and GST, payment schedule, cohort details, access entitlements and relevant cancellation or refund conditions. Please check these details carefully.
Electronic acceptance, including acceptance through an online form or payment flow, may create a binding agreement. Keep a copy of the enrolment confirmation, invoice and terms provided to you.
5. Accounts, credentials and access
Learning accounts and access rights are personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity carried out through your account.
- Report suspected unauthorised access promptly.
- Do not share credentials or allow another person to attend, submit work or access resources in your name.
- Do not bypass download restrictions, permissions or security controls.
- Program recordings remain available for 12 months after completion; program learning materials are available for lifetime access.
- Eligible learners may repeat a batch for up to five years and receive structured doubt support for up to five years, subject to program rules and continued availability.
6. Program delivery and changes
Programs are delivered through live online weekday or weekend cohorts. Cohorts are limited to a maximum of 20 learners and new cohorts are generally available monthly, subject to admissions and scheduling.
We may update tools, examples, exercises, projects, sequencing or instructors to maintain academic quality and relevance. If an operational issue requires a class or cohort to be rescheduled, we will provide reasonable notice and an alternative arrangement. Any material change to a paid enrolment will be handled under the applicable enrolment terms and law.
7. Learner responsibilities
Learning outcomes depend on consistent participation and honest work. You agree to:
- complete assignments, assessments and projects honestly;
- acknowledge sources, copied code and AI assistance where required;
- communicate respectfully with instructors, mentors, staff and other learners;
- meet the stated attendance, technical and submission requirements; and
- use learning resources, feedback and community spaces for lawful educational purposes.
8. Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the website, curriculum, teaching content, recordings, templates, assessments, designs and other resources are owned by or licensed to Skillsbiz Education. Enrolment gives you a limited right to use them for your own learning; it does not transfer ownership.
- Do not sell, license, publish, upload, broadcast or redistribute materials or recordings.
- Do not record a live session without permission.
- Do not remove copyright, branding or rights notices.
- Do not create or sell training products substantially derived from protected Skillsbiz Education materials.
You retain ownership of original project work you create, subject to third-party rights and any separate permission you give us for assessment, feedback or showcasing.
9. Acceptable use
You must not use the website or learning systems to:
- break the law or facilitate unlawful activity;
- gain unauthorised access, probe security, distribute malware or disrupt a service;
- harass, threaten, discriminate against or impersonate another person;
- submit false identity, eligibility, payment or completion information;
- infringe privacy, confidentiality or intellectual-property rights; or
- test systems outside an expressly authorised learning environment.
10. Third-party tools and AI services
Programs may use third-party software, cloud services, libraries, models, APIs, datasets or platforms. Those providers control their availability, licensing, pricing and terms. Review their terms and privacy practices before use.
If a paid third-party tool is required for a cohort and is not included in your fee, we will disclose the requirement before the relevant activity.
11. Projects, portfolios and data
Each program includes eight applied projects and a capstone. Projects use public or synthetic datasets and India-relevant business contexts unless we expressly state otherwise. They are educational work, not paid client assignments.
- Do not upload confidential employer, client or personal data without authorisation and an approved environment.
- Follow dataset licences and attribution requirements.
- Do not publish passwords, API keys, private repositories or restricted material.
- Describe your contribution and results accurately; do not invent business impact.
12. Career support and outcomes
Eligible learners receive resume, LinkedIn and portfolio guidance, three mock interviews, access to the Skillsbiz job portal, interview and referral support, placement drives, and guidance on freelance work, salary discussions and offer evaluation. Active placement assistance is provided for 90 days. An optional one-year internship pathway with a Letter of Recommendation is subject to eligibility and successful completion of its requirements.
Employer logos shown on this website are examples of employers in the industry. They do not imply partnership, endorsement or a hiring commitment.
13. Fees, cancellations and refunds
Program fees are payable according to the invoice or payment plan accepted at enrolment. Unless stated otherwise, applicable taxes are additional. Any financing arrangement is also subject to the provider’s terms.
Refunds and cancellations are governed by the Refund Policy and the terms presented for your transaction. The current Skillsbiz Education policy requires an eligible request within seven days of purchase and only where services have not been availed. It also contains specific exclusions, including certain instalment, token, EMI, education-loan, discounted and rescheduled enrolments.
14. Suspension or termination
We may restrict or suspend access for non-payment, credential sharing, serious or repeated misconduct, unlawful activity, security threats or material breach of these Terms. Where appropriate, we will notify you and provide a reasonable opportunity to address the issue. Immediate action may be taken where necessary to protect learners, staff, systems or third parties.
Suspension or termination does not automatically create or remove a refund entitlement. Any refund will be determined under the applicable Refund Policy, enrolment terms and law.
15. Disclaimers and liability
Education supports skill development but does not replace your judgment or professional advice in legal, financial, medical, security or other regulated matters. You remain responsible for how you use learning content, code, models and AI output.
To the extent permitted by law, Skillsbiz Education is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from misuse of materials, unauthorised use of third-party systems, failure to follow security instructions or decisions made by employers and other independent third parties.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
16. Questions, complaints and disputes
Contact us with your name, registered contact details, program and a clear description of the issue. We aim to acknowledge enquiries within 12 working hours during Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM.
We will first try to resolve the issue through our internal review process. This does not prevent you from using any statutory complaint or consumer-redress mechanism available under law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Electronic contracts and acceptance are recognised under Section 10A of the Information Technology Act, 2000. Consumer transactions remain subject to the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and other applicable law.
Before starting formal proceedings, you and Skillsbiz Education should make a reasonable effort to resolve the matter directly. Nothing in these Terms limits access to a court, consumer commission or other forum where applicable law gives you that right.
18. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms when our website, programs, payment arrangements or legal obligations change. The latest version and effective date will be published on this page.
A material change will apply prospectively. An existing paid enrolment remains governed by the version accepted at enrolment and its program-specific documents unless a change is agreed with you or required by law.
